Zelda Friday... on Saturday!

So I kinda forgot/ ran out of time to post yesterday. I have a big craft fair coming up in a couple of weeks and I've been making stuff any free chance I get. We didn't hit any milestones this week, but she is rolling from her stomach to her back a lot. She has rolled a couple of times from her back to her belly but her arm gets stuck under neath her and she doesn't know how to fix it. No pictures today, just a VIDEO!

New craft... thoughts?!?

I have a big craft show coming up in a couple of weeks and I've been wanting to make more than just clothing. So I pumped out about six pairs of reversible car seat belt covers. I'm thinking of pricing them at $9 a pair. Along with being reversible they have a layer of batting in between to give a little cushion. Below is one set with a picture of both sides. I would REALLY love if you could comment on them, good or bad - or if it's just not something you would buy! I am on the fence about making more and need some feedback. And I know you're wondering who that gorgeous model is - it's Zelda Simone!

It's Friday!

Last night was the most difficult night on record. Zelda was up almost every hour and from 3-4am and 5-6am she stayed awake the whole hour. The doctor says we need to let her CIO (cry it out) at night. She goes to sleep great, we put her down awake and she talks to herself her a few minutes then dozes off. It's the staying asleep part which is proving to be tricky. Tonight before we started our bedtime routine I fed her oatmeal - which she usually gets in the morning. Hopefully that really filled her up and might help her stay asleep. She is into trying to feed herself, but it's not going so well.

Oh, I forgot to mention today is Zelda's 7 month birthday! She went to the doctor on 3.10 and these are her stats:

6.5 Month Weight = 15lbs 10oz
5 Month Weight = 14lbs 4oz

6.5 Month Height = 26 3/4"
5 Month Height = 25 1/2"

6.5 Month Head Circumference = 17 1/8"
5 Month Head Circumference = 16 1/2"

My mom went home on Wednesday, but here she is with Zelda!

Amy Butler....

... has bedding?!?! OK so I don't go out that often and when I do, I am not shopping! When my mom was here we made a trip to Home Goods. I immediately fell in love with a sheet set I saw from afar. Upon closer review I was so surprised to see that they were from Amy Butler! Totally understandable that they were made by her since I love most of her fabric.

I don't want to make my bed up all nice and take a picture so I am giving you a stock photo of what the whole bedding set I got would look like (I just got the sheet set, though).

My Loot!

Yesterday my mom, Jon, Zelda and I ventured out to the antique mall. It was awesome! There wasn't any 'great' deals, but I did get a few things that I really love.

First up is my yellow pyrex bowl - $7.50

Large Owl Salt & Pepper shakers - $14

Skull & Crossbones Salt & Pepper shakers - $18

Axe & Stump Salt & Pepper shaker - $12

Zelda Friday!

My mom is in town visiting from Dallas. Everyone was talking about how much sleep I will be getting. But I am getting even less sleep because I want to hang out with my mom when the baby is napping. And I usually take a 20 minute to 2 hour nap, depending on how long Zelda naps for. But we are having a lot of fun!

If you are friends with me on facebook you probably know Jon and I are in the process of buying house! I don't want to jinx it, but let me tell you what a complete headache it is. We are almost content with being renters forever, almost.

Zelda wants to know if this is what 'fun' looks like. Courtesy of her dad.

Trying to get a close up of her two teeth, didn't really turn out. Those are avocados, not boogers.

Loving Aunt Liz's tag blanket!

I'm back!

OK, I am getting back into my regularly scheduled blogging routine this week, I swear! (Which really just means I promise a Zelda Friday post!)

And I'm giving you a bonus Zelda post since I've been lagging!

She is getting over her first cold and cough, which has led to some very sleepless nights. Also, while we were in MI she got her first tooth, and then last week her 2nd one cut through! I haven't taken and pictures since we've been home, but I have a few stock piled.

She got tired of holding her head up waiting for me to get her food ready.

Hanging out on her play mat

Loving her Exersaucer!

And finally, she loves styling my hair!
