Zelda Zelda Zelda

This week has been difficult because Jon is crunching at work. And since he is working so much he is not here to help with Zelda. Luckily we have gotten into a good routine and she is usually in bed by 8pm.

We finally made it to her physical therapy evaluation and just like we suspected, she has torticollis. We'll be going to PT two time a week for a few weeks then going down to once a week. In the meantime we have exercises to do at home, all of which Zelda hates. We were also given a referral to have her head measured to make sure she doesn't need a helmet.

I caught this photo of her right after a nap. This was the first time she wasn't in the same position I left her in.

  1. What a cutie patootie! I love the photo, too.

I know a couple babies that had torticolis and are completely fine now, so keep up with the exercises! You are a wonderful (temporary) single mother!

  3. She's adorable! My little guy is spinning around all over the place now - you put them down one way and you come back to find them in a completely different position. Wait till they start crawling and turning over! :)

I don't know anything about torticolis but I hope she's ok and it's not anything serious.

  4. It's not super serious. One of her neck muscles is too tight and we need to work it out so she doesn't have problems in the future, but it makes her head a funny shape since she can't hold it straight! (which is why she may need a helmet)
